House of Bids Auctions Goes Live!
I'm really excited, and I'm certain that you will be too, now that House of Bids' online auction forum has gone live. It took a lot of time and endless nights without sleep to get this site to the point where it is today. Still, there's much more in store for the future.

House of Bids started out in November 2001, as a small branch of the Mansmann Group reselling personal security products. Sales were good, but we soon came to discover that the majority of security products buyers would rather purchase their products online; and to satisfy our customers we open an online store; and from there we allowed people to buy products. Every once and a while an item would get discontinued and we would sell it for the highest bid and we realized people were more interested in the challenges of bidding in auctions than they were in many of the products that they actually competed for. And that's when it hit me - "Give security products buyers what they want: An auction venue without the difficulties of placing bids".

A short time later, House of Bids proudly presents a full-featured auction venue dedicated 100% to the buying and selling of security products. Nothing else. Just security products. And now today we are at this stage with a full-featured auction house that allows buying and selling of any item our users choice.

To keep our visitors in touch with one another, and to aid them in their online purchasing-decisions, we have included a general-use bulleting board system. We hope that it will serve our guests well.
